Sue Gage
Board Member
Sue is a member of the Hudson Valley HIEroes Board who brings more than four decades of experience in special education. A retired speech-language pathologist and Director of Special Education, Sue has worked in both public and private education and has held leadership roles supporting preschool and school-age special education programs.
Sue has deep roots in the Hudson Valley and a long-standing connection to the Saugerties community. Her involvement with Hudson Valley HIEroes grew from personal relationships with local families affected by HIE and a shared commitment to supporting families navigating complex educational and developmental needs.
Now retired, Sue is grateful to dedicate her time and experience to meaningful volunteer work. She brings a thoughtful, steady perspective to the board and is passionate about ensuring that children with disabilities and their families are supported, informed, and valued.
